I'll say it. I love playing with clay.
I love the malleable texture in my hands.
I love it wet or dry.
Most of all, I love the infinity of possible forms.
To me, clay is a physical manifestation of the infinity symbol - in a squishy form.
I love how clay comes from the earth
and will in years, decades or centuries,
certainly return to the earth,
as a whole, in shards or as dust.
Reclaimed. Merely on loan from Gaia.
I love how clay allows me to absolutely be
in the moment and yet feel timeless
at the same instant -
savouring a slice, a bite, a taste of eternity.
So there, now that I've said it,
welcome to my explorations with clay.

Architecture, archaelogy, anthropology, contemporary art & design, food, furniture design, literature, mechanical tools, modern dance, nature, poetry, paleonteology, sea creatures, theatre, travel... what did I miss?
The designs are my own and stem from my imagination, observations or sometimes just my fingers running wild.
Each piece is hand made from scratch and every kiln firing is a surprise - so each piece is unique.
My wearable collection aspires to make you feel connected to the earth and well, just plain old vanilla happy.
My functional collection is just that - it's nice to look at but also really easy to use.
